Chantal Fidanza has had the immense pleasure of teaching Italian at Little Italy's Alta House since 1999. A Cleveland-area native, she first began learning Italian as a young child from her grandmother, Anne Bardi, and her great-grandmother, Esmeralda, both natives of the Tuscan port town, Livorno. She went on to study Italian formally choosing Italian as her major in college. For several years she used both spoken and written Italian daily in her export company. Recently she has gotten back into working with Italy and continues to enjoy helping others learn Italian. Her favorite time spent, however, is with her family primarily: husband, Mark, their son, Mauricio, and her "nonna," who just celebrated her 92nd "compleanno."
The Alta House in Little Italy, the best place in Cleveland to learn Italian!
